Welcome to Filou Lane
Filou Lane Pony Stud is aiming to breed quality Australian Ponies that can be used for a wide variety of roles from Pony Club to the Show Ring. One area we will not comprise is the temperament – all ponies must be suitable for children.
Filou Lane Pony Stud was started by Filipa and Richard Marshall in 2002 with the purchase of an Australian pony mare, Fairlight Acres Promise. Since purchasing Promise, she has had 3 foals, 2 colts and a filly. In 2004, the stallion Fairlight Acres Play Toy was purchased to cover 3 mares which have been leased. 2006 saw the first crop of foals arrive - many fillies and two colts. 2007 has seen 4 fillies and 2 colts arrive.
